Matt Turley | Lindy & Vaughan – 26th August
The three sculptors will reveal insights into the art-making process.
Over the last three years, Matt has witnessed a flourishing career as a public artist, securing prestigious commissions from renowned institutions such as the City of Holdfast Bay, Brighton Jetty Sculptures (Finalist 2023), United Communities, and Kildare College. Notably, in June of 2022, he was commissioned by the City of Victor Harbor to craft an extraordinary art piece at the Whalers Well, nestled at the base of the Bluff. What sets Matt apart is his extensive background in devising, constructing, and executing projects for diverse clients in sectors like building, marine, mining, government, and defence. This experience has uniquely equipped him to conceptualize and deliver large-scale artistic creations that enrich the public realm.
Together Lindy & Vaughan create site-specific stained glass installations and sculptures.
Their work appears in many churches and public buildings as well as hundreds of private residences. They have received several awards including an ISSI Overseas Fellowship.
