Award-winning photographer from Auckland, NZ, Gail is passionate about underwater and creative fine art photography. She pursues unconditionally the “art of photography” rather than conventional image taking. For Gail, photography is a way of seeing, thinking and feeling.
Her images express creative and artistic reflections of emotion and mood. Being behind the camera is a form of meditation where she becomes focused and connected with the “now” allowing the stillness within to capture the beauty and emotion that brings depth to her images.
Gail has been honoured with both international and national awards, including recognition for her exhibitions in New Zealand and Paris. She holds a prestigious Fellowship with the Photographic Society of New Zealand and is a member of their Honours Board. Gail is also an accredited judge in photography and audio-visuals with the PSNZ. This exhibition marks her first in Australia.
