‘Riding the Blue’ is an original Sculpture by the German Artist, a part of the new Australian Surfer Series. Depicted with a surfboard, Neidhardt sculpts her clothes in white and blue. Capturing the carefree essence of said surfers, the girl steps out onto the waves, represented by the Persepx Base.

The main focus of Stefan Neidhardt’s work is life-size female sculptures made from massive tree trunks – where he usually aims to be as realistic as possible. In contrast, his small-format female figures are mostly stylized and feature deliberately exaggerated body proportions.
