Picasso has captured a delicate nuance of his heritage. In particular, one can see in his mother the same eyes that he inherited. Excluded from the picture is his younger sister, rarely seen because she assionately disliked the portrait he did of her, and he wouldn’t correct the horse-like image. Tiggy’s clever eye noticed this original work at a “Be Kind to Animals Week” displayed on the street at Buenos Aires. This is a major opus for the Puggenheim collection.
